Wow. Everytime i write something here i feel like i have to reintroduce myself or ask forgiveness for not updating for so long.
Anyways, what i'm writing about is a nice thing. Our dear friend Matteo Guidi has been busy with a youth project lately, supported by the local City Hall. He smelled the opportunity and he proposed his idea to his supervisors, who accepted with enthusiasm: he wanted to make a fanzine about rollerblading.

Kickin' it at Lambro - “ 0 ”
Last weekend we had a party over at Lambro bowl in Milano.
We had the dj boot, the fireplace and we built a special wallride for the event.
It was made out of wood and about 1.5 meters tall, but it made our day!
Like a machine-gun - “ 3 ”
The nice Sims from Dinamik Productions sent us some footage of his latest photoshoots he had a couple of days ago in Torino. The skaters featured are Mauro Moi and Jason Adriani, from Bisca Clothing team - Italy's finest. Sims was filming on a compact camera and didn't put much effort in those clips, but they're worth watching anyways.

This has been a kind of unpredictable summer, i've been forced home for a whole month and our skating project dissolved. But we didn't lose the grip and fed you throughout the summer with fresh photographs with our Flickr account.

Broken like a sack of nuts - “ 13 ”
Let me start this with f**ck, f**ck, f**ck! I broke my fibula just above the malleolus while skating yesterday. That's it. I'm set for 40 days. Yesterday night i couldn't sleep for how bad it hurted. Basically here's what happened: i landed on my left foot while spinning out of a trick and twisted it badly with all of my body's weight. We called an ambulance and they drove me to a first hospital where i checked in, but later we found that there was no orthoptist there, so i had to move to a second hospital where i got x-rays and they temporarily fixed my leg.
By Bisca | Thu, 27 Jul @ 08:30 AM under about bisca + randomCross Processing in Photoshop - “ 1106 ”
Hei everybody, this is my second tutorial about photo retouching (the first one can be found here).
As i stated previously, i'm not a big fan of post-processed photographs or heavily photoshopped images, as i believe that the goal of a photographer is to achieve what is on his mind with his camera and not through his computer. But sometimes Photoshop can be useful to mimick some long or expensive procedures, or just to kill a couple of hours when you're bored.
So, after explaining my point of wiew, today what i'm showing is some kind of cross processing procedure.
I've stumbled across this method after palying a while with the newly released Nikon Capture NX, and then improveed it and converted to 8 Photoshop steps for your convenience.

It's bandana time! - “ 2 ”
It seems like recently rollerbladers found a big source of inspiration from rockers. That's why we see them wearing bandanas around their heads more often everyday passing by.
Speaking of bandanas, Alberto just sent in a picture of Arlo Eisenberg that look almost as Matteo Guidi. Oh well, its better to say viceversa.
Is that just a fortunate coincidende?
