Broken like a sack of nuts - “ 13 ”

Let me start this with f**ck, f**ck, f**ck! I broke my fibula just above the malleolus while skating yesterday. That's it. I'm set for 40 days. Yesterday night i couldn't sleep for how bad it hurted. Basically here's what happened: i landed on my left foot while spinning out of a trick and twisted it badly with all of my body's weight. We called an ambulance and they drove me to a first hospital where i checked in, but later we found that there was no orthoptist there, so i had to move to a second hospital where i got x-rays and they temporarily fixed my leg.

Cross Processing in Photoshop - “ 1136 ”

Hei everybody, this is my second tutorial about photo retouching (the first one can be found here). As i stated previously, i'm not a big fan of post-processed photographs or heavily photoshopped images, as i believe that the goal of a photographer is to achieve what is on his mind with his camera and not through his computer. But sometimes Photoshop can be useful to mimick some long or expensive procedures, or just to kill a couple of hours when you're bored.
So, after explaining my point of wiew, today what i'm showing is some kind of cross processing procedure.
I've stumbled across this method after palying a while with the newly released Nikon Capture NX, and then improveed it and converted to 8 Photoshop steps for your convenience.

Lg Games in Amsterdam, day two - “ 0 ”

We reach the main event area at around noon. Our eyes are filled with the wide valley set up as a disco, with the huge LG pipe in the middle, the street course and the FMX course. The sight is impressive and as soon as we reach the "dance-valley" we undesrtand how cool it really is. A dance music festival with 14 big areas pumping each different music, with a big park in the middle.

LG Games in Amsterdam - “ 1 ”

Bisi of Italianrolling went to Amsterdam to judge for the LG Games. Thats how the whole trip looked in his eyes.

I arrive in Amsterdam at about 13:30 and after a couple of hours wasted in eating and roamind around i check in with the LG staff at our hotel. Once i'm set with all my stuff in my room i decide to go for a walk in the centre of Amsterdam, which is a really cool city and most surprisingly full of bicycles.

Its a stickernation - “ 4 ”

All right, finally our first batch of stickers has arrived. We decided to keep it straight and simple for the first time: just the logo and the website, black on white vinyl, 7cm of diameter.

Mimicking Wes Driver - “ 24 ”

My friend Simone yesterday came for an unexpected visit. We went to the beach and skated a bit. I've shot a couple of pics at the local skatepark, but since they turned out being nothing special, i thought of a discussion i had with Trony a while ago about photo retouching.
