Italian Rolling Party 2006 - A short report - “ 9 ”
Hi everybody. So, the IRP 2006 now is over and its time to tell all the people wo couldn't make it to the Groove Skatepark what has been going on for the last two days.
First of all i would like to thank all the people who showed there, but mostly the skaters, which always give me a great inspiration to continue doing all this.
Bisca set up a nice stand which soon became a referring point for everyone who needed a safe place to put their camera or that was jusk seeking a nice seat and some shadow.
Day one, saturday 17
In the news, the contest went off smooth for the qualification rounds, there even was a under-16 category with some really nice kids (one of them was 7 years old) skating around all padded.Unsponsored skaters ran in the amateur category, while sponsored ones were into the pro round. The amateur section featured mostly italian skaters, divided into batteries.

The last two days we've tried to geto some exposure for the Italian Rolling Party in the local press.

The weekend before Italian Rolling Party - “ 2 ”
Leaving was set at 8:50 AM. Jason still sleeping, yawning and reading the latest issue of Daily Bread.
Alberto is driving and i've been assigned to write this stuff. Everything goes smooth thanks to Sims' directions via phone, we arrive to destination one and half hour later without getting lost.
We meet the guys and go picking up Nano, who was still sleeping. Then we go to a small skatepark where the guys form Torino have build a small ledge, where everybody warms himself up a bit.
Italian Rolling Party 2006 - “ 1 ”
All right folks, another year has passed by, so here we go announcing the upcoming third edition of the infamous "Italian Rolling Party".
As always the venue will be the beautiful Groove Skatepark in Sestri Levante (Genova).
The Italian Rolling Party is the biggest italian event of the year, so you don't want to miss it!

It's bandana time! - “ 2 ”
It seems like recently rollerbladers found a big source of inspiration from rockers. That's why we see them wearing bandanas around their heads more often everyday passing by.
Speaking of bandanas, Alberto just sent in a picture of Arlo Eisenberg that look almost as Matteo Guidi. Oh well, its better to say viceversa.
Is that just a fortunate coincidende?
